Well, the season has officially begun here in Nebraska.  Nebraska Ren Faire was last weekend... what gorgeous weather we had!  The nicer weather certainly meant that the whole thing was FAR more enjoyable for merchants, performers, patrons at all parties, I think.  I really, REALLY loved the addition of the beer garden, and ATMs.  And as ever the presence of flush privvies.  Huzzah!  Nice to see so many dear friends there... (speaking of HUZZAH!) 

Also right on the horizon, James Arthur Vineyards next weekend, (the 16th) as well as the first weekend of Midwest Ren Fest. 

It is now officially springtime in Nebraska! :)

I must humbly admit that I didn't know Jim personally, but recognized him from his frequent and very distinctive presence at Ren events in the midwest.  I recall him walking about the faire with great, confident strides.
